House

This video was shot by the artist using a simple, point-and shoot camera while on a night ghost house tour.

You will also see here views of the piece in its installation format. The piece was rear-projected onto three 7-yard panels of organza. The organza curtain was installed at the edge of a small gallery room, whose walls were still ordained with pieces from a former installation. The shadows of those pieces were visible through the curtain, as was the faint glow of the short-throw projection lens. The piece was designed to project from ceiling to floor in the gallery — when on the floor it was reflected in the “puddled” organza — over 4 yards of each panel were pooled on the floor below. Likewise, the moving picture danced on the ceiling, and the far wall behind the viewers, and on a second layer of organza that was draped over the wire.
