Three colleagues connected by ribs and spine sense each others' breathing. The two outer wearers are forced to breathe alternately as the apparatus compresses one set of ribs while the others' expands. The middle wearer's spine translates that breath with a slight sway. Exhalations are audible through vocalizations.
